Ghostface Gunner’s Bio

When we brought Gunner home, we knew he was something special. He was our first chondro-positive bull, handpicked after months of searching for balance: short, but not too short. Thick, but not overdone. Strong, but agile. In short—perfectly proportioned.

Chondro (chondrodysplasia) means he carries one copy of the dwarf gene, making him an estimated 4–5 inches shorter than he would be otherwise.

Gunners Calves:

Gunner leaves a unique stamp on his calves. Nearly every one arrives with bright white splashes on the head, tipped tails.  Add in the fact that he’s producing about 80% chondro calves, and it’s no wonder his bloodline is on its way to becoming legendary.

And the best part? Gunner’s story is still being written. With more pairings planned for 2026, we can’t wait to see his next generation of calves.  


2024 Calves:

Mr. Bombastic (dam is Silver Shimmer)

  • Boomer is a chondro-positive silver bull calf, projected to finish in the 37-38” range, small and correct in every way.

Casper (dam is Milani)

  • Casper is Gunner’s only non-chondro calf to date.  He’s a white bull calf that we estimate will mature around 43”, mirroring the non-chondro height of both parents. He was 22” at birth.

2025 Calves:

Clover (dam is Milani) 

  • Clover is a bright white chondro-positive heifer, feminine, balanced, and beautifully coated.

Phantom (Dam is Silver Shimmer) 

  • Phantom is a bright white chondro-positive bull calf, carrying forward Gunner’s strong build, calm temperament, and legendary hair.

Chewbacca (Dam is Lorelei) -

  • Chewbacca is also white and chondro-positive, a pint-sized powerhouse with a champagne coat and snowy accents, instantly a favorite here.

2026 Calves:

Laney (Dam is Lorelei) -

  • Laney is also white and chondro-positive.  She’s the smallest calf we’ve produced to date at a mere 17” at birth.  We expect her to mature in the 36-37” range.
