At Montana Mini Cattle, our vision has always been simple: build a herd of exceptional miniature Highlands that embody quality, conformation, and temperament. Over the years, we’ve carefully selected and bred cattle that meet those standards, and today we feel we’ve reached the perfect balance. Our fold is filled with animals we’re proud to call our own.

Looking ahead, we see our program focused on two exciting paths: continuing to offer outstanding calves from our fold and expanding access to our bulls through a growing semen program. Not every farm has the space or need to keep a bull, and semen gives smaller herds a way to access genetics they might not otherwise be able to bring home. At the same time, for breeders ready to take the next step, we’ll continue to offer select heifer and bull calves from our amazing lineup—animals that carry the same structure, temperament, and hair we’re known for.

We also love the idea of working more closely with small farms that share our passion for raising miniature Highlands the right way. Whether that means helping someone start with a couple of high-quality heifers, setting them up with semen from our bulls, or matching them with a promising herdsire, our goal is to make it easier for others to build their dream herds on a foundation of elite genetics.

As we look toward the future, our focus remains the same: quality over quantity, and building relationships with breeders who share our vision. By keeping our program intentional and partnering with the right people, we believe the best of Montana Mini Cattle is still ahead.
