Tundra Calves

Frozen Tundra

Tundra is our only non-chondro bull and while he's highpark, he's nearly full highland.  His sire is a 42" silver 95%+ Highland / White Park cross and his dam is a tiny 39" pure highland dun cow.  Tundra is a specimen of a bull with all that hair, absolutely perfect conformation, calm temperament, and still under 42" at 3.5 years old. 

As we only had two bulls that were mature enough to produce calves in 2024, we decided to pair Tundra up with our two former mid size highpark girls from RCM; Molly and Daisy.  To our complete surprise, both calves came up solid colored; one white, the other black.  But having expected highpark marked calves, we decided last Fall to breed Snow White (white pure highland) and Moira (dun pure highland) to Tundra for 2025 calves as well.  I’m just dying to see the coat on these two calves looking at how much hair he put on his first two, and this time breeding him to two very nicely haired pure highlands as well!
