Chewbacca

Chewbacca will be a centerpiece for any top tier breeding program.  

He was born 5/28/25.  He’s white, suspected chondro positive, 95+% highland, beautifully haired, perfect square head, expected to mature at 37-38” and he carries at least one wild type allele. 

Lorelie is Chewy’s dam. She’s 42” and turning 3 in December.  She’s registered with IMCBR and HHCA and is a purebred highland.  She’s the perfect example of the breed in both appearance and temperament. 

Chewy’s sire is Ghostface Gunner, of A Peculiar Farm.  While chondro positive, he’s 99% highland and the result of APF’s extensive breed back program dating back to 2007.  Gunner is a gorgeous white 38" bull with the most easy going temperament and excellent conformation. He’s gentle and sweet with his calves.  He carries a wild type gene and this is expressed in all of his calves with white markings.  Chewy has white  on his head and tail.
